Loretta A. Barrow, Broker in Charge and Owner: With over 25 years collective experience with new construction, planning, and real estate sales, My motto is "The customer and client comes first". I believe that honesty, integrity, and fairness is what has gained the trust of thousands of clients, and why they continue to refer new business to me. I am a hard worker, born and raised as a tobacco farmer's daughter in Eastern North Carolina, and I believe that the work ethics my father taught me as a child is why I am successful as a Real Estate Professional. My goal is to listen to what you need, as a seller or a buyer, and then seek earnestly for the goal YOU have set. I am married to Stephen M. Barrow, Professional Land Surveyor, and we have two children, Darryl who is also a Professional Land Surveyor, working with his father at Barrow & Barrow, PA, Snow Hill and married to Chelsea (Hill), owner of Greene County Florist, Snow Hill. My daughter Laura, is a hair stylist with Company B Salon and Relaxation Center in Greenville, and she is married to Dana Miller, co-owner and operator of Dynasty Homes of Greenville. Laura and Dana have provided me with my only grandson, Coleson, who I am very much in love with! My husband and I are members of Hull Road Original Free Will Baptist Church, Snow Hill, where I am also the choir director. My hobbies include singing, golfing, and playing with my grandson!
Adams, Barbara (Fussell): After teaching at Pace Academy in Greenville for two years and Greene County Central High School for 31 years, I decided to try something different and go into the real estate business. Fortunately, one of my former students, Loretta Barrow, started her own company and decided I was worth including as a part of her staff. After five years at Heritage Properties, I can say that I made a very wise decision to trust my instincts and work with someone who has the values that I have when it comes to "do unto others as you would have them do unto you." When I am not doing real estate, I teach English classes for the Heritage program through Mount olive College as well as take care of my granddaughter, Savannah, who is four. My daughter is Blake Evans Whaley who is a store manager for US Cellular, and my son-in-law is Nick Whaley who works for the Pitt County Sheriff's Department. My husband Bill, who is from England and an avid golfer, works for Strader Management as a supervisor. I feel truly blessed when any of my former and present students and our family and friends trust me to help them with their real estate needs.

We believe that this is the most important time we will spend with you in preparing you for the selling process. From providing a comparative market analysis so you can intelligently compete in today's market, to explaining the NC Offer to Purchase and Contract form, providing an estimated "Worse Case" scenario Net sheet so you will be prepared to negotiate when the first offer is made, to insure that you understand "Inspections and Investigations", "Repair Requests", and "Cost of Repair contingencies", and many other facets of selling a property, We feel that an educated seller is a happy one the day of the closing.
- Buyers: At Heritage Properties, before scheduling any homes to view, we explain agency and have a Home Buyer Consultation with you to prepare you for the entire home buying process. In addition to explaining why the mortgage loan qualification is the most important and first step to take in purchasing a home, we also provide you with a home buying questionnaire which provides us with your wants and needs for you and your family, and we LISTEN to what your concerns are as a buyer.
